Aggieland plays melodic blues-folk-songs about ups, downs and risilience in life and love. The duo's music is rooted in the American singer-songwriter tradition. The clear voice of singer Aggie de Kruijf is accompanied by Stephan Jankowski's groovy way of guitar playing.

Guitarist, composer and producer Stephan (Bots, The Watchman, Sister Sledge) and songwriter, singer Aggie (The Very Girls) have internationally harvested beautiful reviews of Aggieland's music like  'Please do try and book Aggieland good times will certainly be had by all.'  Maverick magazine, UK .

Aggie has been a singer for as long as she can remember. The art and craft of song writing is  relatively new to her.  It started on tour in the USA with The Watchman band and The Very Girls. Listening to music that she didn't like on the car radio, Stephan challenged her to write a song herself.  And so she did! On that same tour she read 'Welcome to Aggieland' on a Texan water tower,  which provided her with an appopriate name for a future CD as well as a band name.

Stephan's name is connected to many bands and musicians; mostly as a guitar player like in Bots, The Very Girls, The Watchman and Rosa King's funky band Upside Down.  As a guitarist, composer, sound engineer or producer he also worked with a.o.  Eilen Jewell, Georgie Fame, Philip Kroonenberg's Magic Magicians, Sister Sledge, Sofie and Sofour.                                                                        Stephan has studied guitar at the GIT in Los Angeles as well as in Hilversum and he runs his own recording studio in Amsterdam.
